QUESTION POSED ON: 10 January 2008
I've copied several forms from one Lotus Notes database to another. I then modified the view and copied Lotus Notes documents that also use these forms. When I try to open one of the new documents, I repeatedly get the error message, "Illegal circular use: Audit Trail." What does this error message mean, and how do I resolve it?

>
EXPERT RESPONSE
The form that you mention contains some LotusScript code with the statement: Use "Audit Trail." Because you didn't copy the script library "Audit Trail," with the forms, the code will fail to load. This is why you received the error message.
