QUESTION POSED ON: 09 November 2005
One of our Lotus Notes 6.5 applications has a lot of documents with reader fields. When users don't have access to a given document, the document shows up as a blank row in the calendar view. Is there any way to suppress the blank rows in the calendar view for the readers who are not specified in the reader field?

EXPERT RESPONSE
To be honest, I'm not familiar with this phenomenon. Does it only occur in the formats that display timeslots?

Let me suggest two alternatives. One would be to use a desktop private view (desktop private on first use), which will definitely not include any information about documents the user has no access to. The second alternative would be to access the view through a Domino Web app.
